Do you create more power when you swing the bat or throw it? Which one gives you more bat barrel control? Which one is more effective to have? Speed or Muscle? I'd prefer to have SPEED! When using muscle, it creates multiple flaws in the overall approach. Which one produces a shorter more compact delivery?

When you do anything in life, don't go through the motions! Do it with a specific purpose! That way your able to make the most out of your time! If you don't give it your all, what the point of doing it at all? One way to check yourself to make sure you're living life to the fullest and getting the most out of each day. Right before you go to sleep at night, look into a mirror and ask yourself... Did I give it my all? If not the person to point the finger at or blame is the person you're looking at. If you can honestly smile when look into the mirror, you should be proud of yourself and feel good that you've left no room for doubt or regret!

The idea behind it is to get the lower half on the body involved in the swing by pivoting on the back foot and ultimately rotating or twisting the hips before or while attempting to hit the ball. The reason it's not very affective is because it doesn't promote any transfer of body weight from the batter into the.

The ideal starting position for a batters hands to be is called the " power triangle " when the hands are in the area of back ear, back shoulder, and neck. While in this position the batters hands are above the strike zone which allows the batter to always be able to lower the bat down through the strike zone as if it's an airplane landing on a landing strip. When the bat barrel has this path to the ball the bat barrel stays in the strike zone the longest.

How many batting coaches do you know that actually PRODUCE RESULTS? When do you know you're getting your money's worth? Does your instructor record ( film ) your player's hitting sessions? Do you receive video analysis of your player's swing? How can you tell what's being absorbed and retained? Are there any follow-up emails? These are some of the important questions that I recommend you ask when paying for your child's development as a competitive baseball player.

I strongly believe that quality is the key! Simply having each individual player's best interest at heart will allow the instructor to easily satisfy all of the above questions and deliver effective, efficient training sessions. When training and educating our young athletes, we need to be willing to go the extra distance needed to get the message through. Otherwise the job is simply NOT done! Each kid's best learning style may be different. Some learn best using audio, some using visual, and some through hands on training. When providing these specific follow-ups, we will be able to figure out exactly which style of learning best suits each individual child. Gathering this knowledge about each player enables our instructors to tailor their future sessions and ultimately be more effective!
